Finish Line CDT Entry:  Pie Town to El Paso - September 7, 2016


...windmill museum and the Pie Source Café', by all the other cafe's off the main road, and looped back to her house on a dirt road that went by an old shut down timber mill...the tailings of old logs are the only remnants...even the saw dust has been transported across the globe, and she said that this particular saw dust can be used to grow mushrooms...and finally she took us by a log cabin that had been made with huge hardwood logs that lies just in front of the dyke (crystal caves as her children once called the location because of their rugged saw tooth, sparkling nature).  Afterward, Nita took us back to the Toaster House.  We said our farewells, and David ended up cooking rice pilaf on the grill during the night as I was going to bed.
